Mark Wahlberg is in, and recently retired Shia LaBeouf is out, for Michael Bay's fourth Transformers film, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Sunday's Super Bowl trailer offered fans a first look at Wahlberg's Decepticon fighting skills, along with the movie's other new additions. Number one surprise: Dinobots! Little is revealed about these Jurassic robots in the clip, except that Optimus Prime is a pro at riding these new techno-beasts.
Not everything in the Transformers franchise has changed: The trailer still promises the usual dose of explosions, destruction and heroic screaming. Wahlberg plays a mechanic and father who makes a discovery that unleashes the wrath of the Autobots, Decepticons and our national government.
Here's hoping that "Hey Voltron, say hi to your mother for me" finds its way into the final cut.
