Jimmy Fallon wrapped up his first week hosting “The Tonight Show” with a little help from his friend Justin Timberlake.

Timberlake was the sole guest of the episode, and when he came out for his interview, he and Fallon just sat silently for a few moments as the audience cheered wildly, then grabbed microphones and launched into the latest version of the popular music segment.

The duo showcased their rapping skills on classic songs such as Tone Loc’s “Wild Thing” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Big Poppa” before closing out the performance with a spirited version of Run DMC and Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.”

The “SexyBack” singer’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” coincided with his concert tour dates at Madison Square Garden. While Timberlake’s health issues forced him to postpone his Wednesday concert date, the pop star was able to perform his Thursday and Friday night shows.
