World Cup 2014: Brazil vs. Netherlands live stream, preview - al.com

Saturday represents disappointment for both countries, but a third place finish is still on the line when Brazil faces Netherlands. Where to watch Brazil vs. Netherlands online? AL.com has you covered.

Brazil will kick off against Netherlands at 4 p.m. EST/3 p.m. CT in the World Cup 2014 third-place game. Brazil was absolutely embarrassed in a 7-1 loss to Germany last week, possibly the most humiliating loss in the proud soccer nation's history. Netherlands fared a bit better against Argentina, but lost on penalty kicks.

Where to watch this match? ESPN and Univision will both be showing Brazil-Netherlands in the United States. If you are stuck at work or aren't near a television, ESPN will be livestreaming Brazil vs. Netherlands on its Watch ESPN app here, though you'll need your cable subscription information.

Another option is Univision, though it is now requiring your cable subscription information after being free for most of the tournament and is broadcasted in Spanish. If that doesn't bother you, check out Univision's Brazil vs. Netherlands live stream here.

Viewers can also choose to watch international live streams like BBC's here, though U.S. residents will need to go through apps like TunnelBear or Hola to get past the IP address block on the U.S.

There are also options like First Row Sports, which is totally free, but also a little riskier for online livestreaming. This gives viewers a totally free option to watch streams like BBC's without needing to get past an IP address block, however it could prompt unwanted pop-up advertisements. Check out First Row's Brazil vs. Netherlands live stream here.

What to expect in this match? It's hard to predict how much effort and energy either country will have in the third-place game. Brazil had a gutless performance against Germany, and there's no reason to expect much better against the Netherlands. After a pathetic defensive performance against Germany, can Brazil slow down Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder?

Will the Netherlands care about this third-place game? Its coach certainly doesn't seem to. Despite the offensive firepower, goals haven't come easy for Holland recently. It's anyone's guess as to what Netherlands will do against Brazil.

Prediction: Netherlands 2, Brazil 0.
