One Direction just recently released the music video for “Story Of My Life,” but during 1D Day on Nov. 23 they made it clear that they aren’t slowing down, showing fans a sneak peek of their next video for the song, “Through the Dark.” Read on to watch!
1D Day on Nov. 23 was every bit as good as we expected, with a few sexy shirtless moments, some great performances, and some shocking revelations. The seven-hour live broadcast was pretty much perfect, but the boys of One Direction put a cherry on top of it by showing a preview of their next music video for new song, “Through the Dark.”
One Direction Previews ‘Through The Dark’ Video
The upcoming single is another beautiful acoustic song in the vein of “Story Of My Life,” and it looks like the accompanying video is going to be just as touching.
Made up mostly of somber, black and white concert footage, the “Through the Dark” video plays out as an ode to One Direction’s fan base. Shots of devoted Directioners are littered throughout the video, and it’s really a great way for the group to say thank you.
The video also puts the song — which initially sounded like a love ballad — in a different perspective. Now, “Through the Dark” sounds like it’s directly addressed to the fans, who will definitely swoon when they hear their favorite boys sing:
I will carry you over fire and water for your love
And I will hold you closer
Hope your heart is strong enough
When the night is coming down
We will find a way through the dark
