Congratulations to Tom Ford and his partner of 27 years, Richard Buckley!
The designer and former Vanity Fair cover star—he famously posed with a nude Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley in 2006—revealed in a conversation at the Regent Street Apple store in London on Monday evening that he was a newlywed. “We are now married, which is nice,” he said according to The Telegraph. “I know that was just made legal in the U.K., which is great, but we were married in the States.”
The two met when Ford was 25 years old and when Buckley, then a magazine editor, was 38. The couple welcomed their first son, Alexander ‘Jack’ John Buckley Ford, in 2012.
In the past year, Ford’s name has become familiar to a new generation of fans, thanks to the Jay Z track “Tom Ford,” with its ringing refrain “I don’t pop Molly, I rock Tom Ford.”
