Johnny Manziel is better than Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater.
At least on the NFL’s famed Wonderlic test.
Manziel reportedly scored a 32 on the 50-question, 12-minute test, which was administered during the February scouting combine in Indianapolis. Bortles reportedly recorded a 28, while Bridgewater scored a 20. Manziel’s score was the highest among draft-eligible quarterbacks.
Test results aren’t supposed to be made public but they are often leaked as the draft approaches. A score of 20 is considered acceptable, while 30 and above draws notice.
Vince Young is still shadowed by a reported 6 on his 2006 Wonderlic test. A re-test pushed him to 14.
Newly signed Texans veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who attended Harvard, recorded a 48 in 2005.
Eli Manning (39), Tony Romo (37), Andrew Luck (37) and Tom Brady (33) scored higher than Bortles and Bridgewater. Peyton Manning (28) tied the Central Florida QB.
