The first preview of Disney's "Girl Meets World" has been released.
The 30-second clip of the sequel to the '90s hit "Boy Meets World" shows Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) all grown up and struggling with parenthood.
When his seventh-grade daughter, Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), tries sneaking out her bedroom window with her best friend, Cory steps in to stop her.
"Here's what I'm thinking," he tells his daughter and her friend, Maya Fox (Sabrina Carpenter). "If it was your world, Maya would have you on the subway already thinking you put something over on me."
While he was a young boy in the original series, Cory is now a husband to longtime love Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) and the father of a tween.
The sequel focuses on 12-year-old Riley's adolescent challenges.
"Boy Meets World" had a successful seven season run that ended in 2000. There is no official premiere date for the new series, but it will hit the small screen this summer.
"Got the great news tonight that #GirlMeetsWorld was picked up for 8 more episodes - a total of 21!," Fishel tweeted in January. "Can't wait for everyone to see them all."
