Johnny Depp is slamming rumors that he and his fiancee, Amber Heard, are expecting a baby together. When asked during an interview on April 4, Johnny claims that the rumors are ‘not true’ at all, and declares that their romance is not a ‘shotgun affair.’
Johnny Depp, 50, is clearing the air about whether or not his fiancee Amber Heard, 27, is pregnant with his child.
Johnny & Amber: Not Expecting A Baby
In the April 14 issue of OK magazine, a source claimed that Amber was pregnant with Johnny’s baby.
However, Johnny was quick to respond to these claims, and made sure to do so during his April 4 interview with Today Show anchor, Savannah Guthrie.
After Johnny confirms his engagement to Savannah, she mentions to Johnny that there is a rumor he and his future bride are expecting. Johnny’s reaction is priceless.
“Expecting what?” Johnny asks, baffled. “A child? Good God, what do you think I am? A savage?”
Being the professional that she is, Savannah asks Johnny for a straight answer. Thankfully, he provided.
“No,” Johnny said. “It’s not a shotgun affair.”
So, there you have it! Straight from Johnny’s mouth: Amber is NOT pregnant.
Johnny Says Amber Is ‘Good’ For Him
During the same interview, Johnny took a moment to gush over Amber.
“She’s a wonderful girl, she’s sharp as a tack,” Johnny shares after confirming his engagement.
As if that weren’t enough, he also shared that she is good for him.
“Wonderful, a southern belle,” Johnny continued. “Sweet as can be, and good for me.”
Johnny’s romance with Amber definitely sounds like love!
