The Houston Rockets appeared destined for a Game 7 after scoring with 0.9 seconds remaining in Game 6 — but that was enough time for Damian Lillard.
The Blazers guard hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give the Portland Trail Blazers a 99-98 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday and win the series 4-2.
The victory marks the first time the Blazers have won a playoff series since 2000.
Lillard finished the game with 25 points and 6-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc. LaMarcus Aldridge scored a game-high 30 points. James Harden had 34 points in the losing effort.
