Poor Rich! The rapper was rushed to the hospital on May 6 after suffering back-to-back seizures while shooting a music video in Atlanta. Let us fill you in.
Rich Homie Quan now knows just how important it is to stay hydrated when you’re out in the hot sun! The rapper is currently recovering in an Atlanta-area hospital after he fainted from heat exhaustion and then suffered two seizures.
Rich Homie Quan’s Seizures: Rapper In Good Condition After Recovering In Hospital
The 24-year-old rapper was shooting a music video with rapper Problem in Piedmont Park in Atlanta on May 6 when he collapsed suddenly. He apparently fainted due to severe heat exhaustion and subsequently suffered not one, but two seizures, according to TMZ.
His fainting spell was pretty brutal as well. Apparently he smacked his head so hard on the ground that someone had to call the paramedics, who immediately rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
Rich is relatively new to the rap game, but he’s definitely a rising star! XXL just featured R.H.Q. in its 2014 Freshman class issue.
Rich Homie Quan Thanks His Fans For Their Love And Support On Twitter
R.H.Q. took the time from his hospital bed to thank his fans across the country for their love and support. He tweeted them the following very special and uplifting message on May 7: “First and foremost I want to Thank God for his blessings. Your boy just been grinding too hard. Thanks for all of the prayers… I’m okay”.
