NFL playoff schedule: TV times, matchups for wild-card weekend - Washington Post (blog)

The matchups, days and times for the NFL’s wild-card weekend are set, with NFC games commanding the late TV spots each day.

(Which, of course, means the AFC games will be better.)

Saturday (Jan. 4) games

No. 5 Kansas City Chiefs at No. 4 Indianapolis Colts, 4:35 p.m. ET on NBC

No. 6 New Orleans Saints at No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles, 8:10 p.m. ET on NBC

Sunday (Jan. 5) games

No. 6 San Diego Chargers at No. 3 Cincinnati Bengals, 1:05 p.m. ET on CBS

No. 5 San Francisco 49ers at No. 4 Green Bay Packers, 4:40 p.m. ET on FOX

While we’re at it, here’s the schedule for the divisional-round games, with opponents to be determined. (Notice that the AFC games featuring Tom Brady and Peyton Manning get the late spots here.)

Saturday, Jan. 11

NFC Divisional Round: TBD at No. 1 Seattle Seahawks, at 4:35 p.m. ET on FOX

AFC Divisional Round: TBD at No. 2 New England Patriots, at 8:15 p.m. ET on CBS

Sunday, Jan. 12

NFC Divisional Round: TBD at No. 2 Carolina Panthers, at 1:05 p.m. ET on FOX

AFC Divisional Round: TBD at No. 1 Denver Broncos, at 4:40 p.m. ET on CBS

The championship games are Jan. 19 with the Super Bowl on Feb. 2.
