Dylan Farrow seen with dad Woody Allen in 1989. Farrow describes in a letter how the iconic film director sexually abused her.
Woody Allen’s adopted daughter, in a wrenching letter, describes in stomach-churning detail how the iconic film director sexually abused her.
“When I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house,” wrote Dylan Farrow, who is now 28.
“He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother’s electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me.”
“He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we’d go to Paris and I’d be a star in his movies,” Farrow wrote.
“I remember staring at that toy train, focusing on it as it traveled in its circle around the attic. To this day, I find it difficult to look at toy trains.”
The 78-year-old Allen has been dogged for two decades by claims he sexually abused his daughter.
But Farrow’s painful letter marks the first time she has spoken publicly and detailed what she says Allen did to her.

“For as long as I could remember, my father had been doing things to me that I didn’t like,” reads the letter, which was published in The New York Times.
“I didn’t like how often he would take me away from my mom, siblings and friends to be alone with him. I didn’t like it when he would stick his thumb in my mouth.
“I didn’t like it when I had to get in bed with him under the sheets when he was in his underwear. I didn’t like it when he would place his head in my naked lap and breathe in and breathe out.”
Farrow — who is the daughter of Mia Farrow, Allen’s ex-girlfriend — wrote that she hid under beds and locked herself in bathrooms to avoid her deviant dad.
“But he always found me,” she wrote. “These things happened so often, so routinely, so skillfully hidden from a mother that would have protected me had she known, that I thought it was normal,” reads the letter.
“I thought this was how fathers doted on their daughters. But what he did to me in the attic felt different. I couldn’t keep the secret anymore.”
Allen — who is now married to another of Farrow’s adopted daughters, Soon-Yi — has long denied the allegations.

A woman who answered the door at his Upper East Side home Saturday said he’s not available to comment.
Mia Farrow did not immediately return a call for comment.
The case was thrust back into the spotlight two weeks ago when Allen was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes.
That night, his son, Ronan Farrow, immediately ripped Allen on social media.
“Missed the Woody Allen tribute — did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?” Ronan Farrow tweeted.
In her letter, Dylan Farrow says she never got over the fact that Allen was never convicted of a crime.
“That he got away with what he did to me haunted me as I grew up,” she wrote.

“I was stricken with guilt that I had allowed him to be near other little girls. I was terrified of being touched by men. I developed an eating disorder. I began cutting myself. That torment was made worse by Hollywood. All but a precious few (my heroes) turned a blind eye.”
Dylan Farrow called out several Hollywood stars who have appeared in Allen’s films.
“What if it had been your child, Cate Blanchett? Louis CK? Alec Baldwin?” she wrote.
“What if it had been you, Emma Stone? Or you, Scarlett Johansson? You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton. Have you forgotten me?
“Woody Allen is a living testament to the way our society fails the survivors of sexual assault and abuse. So imagine your seven-year-old daughter being led into an attic by Woody Allen. Imagine she spends a lifetime stricken with nausea at the mention of his name. Imagine a world that celebrates her tormenter.
Are you imagining that? Now, what’s your favorite Woody Allen movie?”
After topping more than 100,000 signatures on "We the People," the White House is now obligated to respond to a petition to "Deport Justin Bieber and revoke his green card."
As of this afternoon, the petition had 104,700 signatures and climbing.
On all petitions, "We the People" states, "If a petition meets the signature threshold [in this case, 100,000], it will be reviewed by the Administration and we will issue a response."
The petition says about the Canadian pop star, "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked."

It continues, "He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."
It was created Jan. 23, the same day news broke the Bieber, 19, was arrested for alleged DUI and drag racing.
The White House reviews and usually responds to petitions that get more than 100,000 signatures within 30 days.
Today, Jen Psaki, a State Department spokeswoman, commented on the petition, saying the petition website "doesn't always determine a step will be taken, it's more of another opportunity for the voices of the American people to be heard."
Since cancelling a visa would come under the State Department's jurisdiction, she continued: "We're getting down quite a rabbit hole here with Justin Bieber, but ... I will check and see what the visa implications would be for anybody who is found of possibly violating the law."

While most petitions are serious in nature, past petitions also include "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus being made the new National Anthem and the government constructing a Death Star to increase jobs.
With regards to the Death Star, the White House said it would cost $850,000,000,000,000,000 to make and thus, would not be moving forward with the proposition. You know the response to this Bieber deportation petition will be probably just as funny.
I was VERY fortunate to attend Howard Stern's 60th Birthday Bash at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Friday night.
As a long-time, die-hard Howard Stern fan, this was the pinnacle. However, since this is a sports website, let me get the sports stuff out of the way first.
I spoke with Stern very briefly on the red carpet and asked him for a Super Bowl prediction. His response?
"In order to give you a Super Bowl prediction, I'd have to know who was playing in the game."
Despite not being a sports fan, I figured Stern would have an opinion on Alex Rodriguez. He did.
"He's being railroaded because the Yankees don't want to pay him his contract," said Stern.
Finally, I asked Stern, who often attends Knicks game, what New York has to do to turn things around?
"I don't know," he said, "but I like when they're bad because then I get those good seats."
As for sports figures at Stern's party, Mark Cuban, Gary Bettman, James Dolan, Robert Kraft and John McEnroe were in attendance.
Now onto the event...
The only way I can sum it up was that it was four straight hours of entertainment on steroids.
It was a combination of stand up, interviews and musical performances from the best of the best in show business.
Stern friend, Jimmy Kimmel, was the perfect host for the event as he moved things along while dropping clever one-liners (he introduced Robert Downey Jr. as "the orginal Crackhead Bob") and engaging Howard in funny banter.

The highlights, in (sort of) chronological order were:
- Tracy Morgan, from his seat in the audience, talking about getting Barbara Walters pregnant, as she sat about a foot away.
- Joan Rivers and Jeffrey Ross roasting Howard and Robin Quivers. I can't even repeat anything they said here, but at one point Rivers made a joke about Paul Walker to generated groans, to which she responded by flipping the bird and saying, "F--- you, I'm 80 years old. Do you think I care?"
- Louis CK simply being Louis CK and telling funny stories.
- Adam Levine doing Prince proud with a great rendition of "Purple Rain."
- Jon Bon Jovi (introduced by New Jersey governor, Chris Christie) singing the classic, "Wanted Dead or Alive."
- Jimmy Fallon whipping the crowd into a frenzy while imitating several comedians. This was made even better by the fact that Fallon's soon-to-be competitor, Kimmel, was on stage while this took place. As Fallon left to a loud ovation, Kimmel simply said, "I didn't think that was funny." However, they did do shots with Howard.

- Sarah Silverman and Natalie Maines performing a hilarious "Howard Stern Show" tribute song, complete with many inside jokes that the crowd ate up.

- A riveting interview between Stern and the very shy David Letterman, which went nearly 30 minutes. This was Stern at his best.
Larry Busacca-Getty Images
- One-time Stern enemy, Rosie O'Donnell getting huge laughs as she sang about how Howard used to torture her.
- John Fogarty bringing the crowd to its feet with two songs.
- Maria Menounos just for being Maria Menounos.

- Dave Grohl with an awesome acoustic version of "Everlong," followed by "My Hero," with Howard looking on nearly in tears.
- Steven Tyler at the piano and going all out on "Dream On," with a surprise appearance by Slash.
Theo Wargo-Getty Images
- Tyler, Slash and Grohl performing "Walk This Way."
Mixed in among these live acts were video messages from the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Paul McCartney, George Clooney, Metallica and No. 1 Stern enemy, Kathie Lee Gifford. (she might be No. 2 behind Jay Leno), who called Howard a "motherf---er."
In addition to the celeb factor, the crowd was treated to live versions of some Robin Quivers tribute songs, which concluded with Ryan Phillippe coming out and giving Robin a lap dance that included him ripping off his shirt.

Lastly, the evening was filled with emotion. From Stern talking about his long-time partner, Quivers, surviving cancer, to Stern talking about his father being his hero to Stern thanking his large staff (notably Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate and Fred Norris) this seemed to be what the crowd enjoyed more than anything.

Stern seemed truly grateful and humbled at the end of the night. He worked the crowd better than all the celebrities I previously mentioned combined.
In his closing remarks, you could sense that Howard expereinced the same thing as those of us in the audience: A four-hour roller coaster ride that was at high speed from start to finish. And an evening that no one in attendance will ever forget.
Encore presentations of "Howard Stern's Birthday Bash" will air on Monday, Feb. 3 beginning at 6:00 am ET on Howard 100 and 6:00 am PT on Howard 101 and through the free stream at siriusxm.com. Molly Schuyler, a 5-foot-7, 125-pound mother of four, devoured a jaw-dropping 363 wings over 30 minutes and three rounds to set the record at Wing Bowl 22 on Friday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The previous record was held by Takeru Kobayashi, who ate 337 wings at the event in 2012.

SportsRadio 94WIPMolly Schuyler captured a $22,000 payday by devouring 363 chicken wings in 30 minutes at Wing Bowl 22. She also surpassed the previous record of 337, set by Takeru Kobayashi in 2012.
Schuyler, from Omaha, Neb., didn't exactly cruise to the crown, however. She narrowly defeated fellow competitive eater Patrick Bertoletti, a Chicago native who finished with 356 wings. Jamie "The Bear" Anderson, last year's champion, was third among the six finalists with 304.
For her gutsy effort, Schuyler won the $22,000 top prize as well as a gold medal and a championship ring.
"I have car payments and kids, so it's all good," Schuyler told Philly.com.
And perhaps even more impressive: All this was accomplished in an hour's work beginning at -- get this -- 8 a.m.
Schuyler breezed to the first-round lead, eating 186 wings in 14 minutes as the top 10 advanced. One of those eliminated in the first round was Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who managed only 65 wings. The second round lasted 14 minutes, and the final round was a two-minute sprint to the finish.
To qualify for the Wing Bowl, Schuyler ate nine pounds of cottage cheese in 114 seconds. She also holds a world record for eating a 72-ounce steak in less than three minutes.
